India has rightly defended herself by launching Operation Sindoor against the terrorist sites that are in Pakistan. Pakistan has been festering terrorism through the various Islamic terror groups.  Any country has the right to defend itself against such terrorist attacks, especially against innocent civilians.  This just shows the cowardly mentality of these terror groups. If I were the PM of India I would have sent battalions of troops into Pakistan and destroyed all their terrorist camps and killed all the terrorists too. But I am not the PM, so I only hope India (Bharat) will step up their attacks on these terror groups in the near future.

Religion

I am a practising Hindu and proud to be one.  I don't go around promoting my beliefs or customs but if someone disrespects my beliefs then I have the right to defend myself.  Which I will do vehemently. No one on Earth or elsewhere can force me to change my beliefs.  And for that matter, there is only ONE God or Higher Spirit or whatever you wish to call the Almighty.  Hinduism does NOT teach you that there are many gods. Just like a human being undergoes 3 stages ie birth, existence and death we Hindus call these Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Protector and Shiva the Destroyer.  And just like our one body which has a head, ears, eyes, nose, mouth etc named according to the functions that the body requires, we Hindus also name the Supreme according to our needs ie one for protection etc etc So please don't misunderstand our religion and our beliefs. Thank you.

Sabarimala Yatra 2024

On 7th January 2024 my wife and I will be leaving for Kerala, India to perform our pilgrimage (yatra) to the Lord Ayyappan temple on Sabarimala. This will be my 19th yatra, while my wife will be performing her 16th. Sabarimala is a hill (situated among 17others) in Kerala.  Lord Ayyappan's temple is located on the top of this hill.  The journey to the temple is arduous and very tiring as we need to climb several hills amidst thick jungle.  Previously we were allowed to trek this route of about 60kms during the night.  But this has been stopped as the Forest Department doesn't want the wild animals to be disturbed. Thousands of pilgrims wearing black or blue clothes with the irumidi on their heads trek this jungle route starting from Erumely town after performing the "petta thulal" ritual.  Those who are able and fit choose to go the long path covering 60 kms but others choose to take the shorter path from Pamba. However both paths are arduous and steep. An...

Covid-19 - the pandemic that is killing millions

Until today 25th May 2021 there has been a total of 3.47million deaths worldwide due to the Covid - 19 pandemic.  And more are expected to die in the coming days. Who is the culprit behind this virus that is killing millions? WHO is now looking at the possibility of it being man-made in a laboratory in Wuhan, China.  But China is vehemently denying it.  Which is unbelievable.  Why?  Let me point out some points. 1.  How is it that China was able to contain the virus so fast?  It is because they already had the antidote before the outbreak. 2.  How come the cities Shanghai and Beijing which are close to Wuhan was not affected by the virus?  That's because they locked down Wuhan and ensured that those who were affected were immediately isolated and possibily inoculated. 3.  How come the leaders of China are not affected?  That's because these leaders were inoculated before the spread of the disease. It is clear from the above, ...
CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC It has been almost a year since this curse called the Chinese Virus or commonly called the Corona Virus has afflicted millions around the world and has also killed millions. Now, countries are fighting to get the vaccines that have been developed by a few countries including India and the UK.  But surprise of surprises, the Western nations including Canada have gobbled up more than double the dosage of vaccines that they require. Countries like India who have a whopping pharmaceutical manufacturing capability has used this to provide FREE dosages to many poor countries in Asia and Latin America.  Now who is the saviour? China has published many articles trying to shift the blame to other western countries and lately India for the spread of this cursed virus.  China is solely to blame for the virus.  They had conducted virology tests in secret in their laboratories in Wuhan, but when it got exposed they quickly tried to deflect the blame t...

COVID 19 PANDEMIC IN MALAYSIA AND POLITICAL CONNUNDRUM This is the situation in respect of the coronavirus pandemic in Malaysia on 18th November 2020. The total active cases are 50,390 - 37,254 = 13,136.  This is only  0.04%  of the total population of 32.7 million in Malaysia today. It is a very miniscule percentage compared to the population.  So why is the government eager to impose an almost complete lock down in most states of Malaysia? There are other more important cases involving influenza, cancer, denggi etc that also needs urgent attention.  But all resources are being diverted to only one target - coronavirus. I will come back to the above in a while. From the map, it is evident that the cases are most spread aroung the KL area, eg Selangor, KL and Putrajaya.  So isn't it prudent that a Red Zone be declared in these areas?  Why need to cover most states in Malaysia? The reason I suspect is political ....ie political survival of this b...

Trains in Sg Siput

It is really frustrating to hear the trains zoom past while waiting at the Sg Siput Railway Station! Ever since the rail lines were electrified we have had these Commuter , ETS and Inter-City trains trundling along without ever stopping at the big, beautiful Railway Station in Sg Siput.  This is a city with 120,000 plus residents.  When they first started the Electric Train Service every body was eager to try it out.  Because on ETS you could reach Kuala Lumpur in less than 3 hours on a very comfortable airconditioned  coach. But woe of woes, we were intimidated that these trains would bypass Sg Siput.  Why we cried!  Because the powers above decided that Sg Siputians had to be taught a lesson.  In GE12, GE13 we had voted the opposition PKR while kicking out the corrupt BN in Sg Siput.  Federal was of course BN territory and they held the reins of power.  They decided that Sg Siput should be decided.  We waited until GE14 to kic...
